Farewell to ArcMap: Time to Step Into a New Era

ArcMap, which has been the first to come to mind in the GIS field for many years and has support! its users in their work, is giving way to our more advanc! innovative technologies. As of March 2024, this product, which will no longer receive updates and innovations, will complete its entire technical support process as of 2026. However, the Academic Department License, Administrative Department License and !ucation Institution Agreement licenses that you will receive until July 1, 2024 and us! in universities within the scope of the !ucation Program will continue to include ArcGIS Desktop or ArcMap as it is known. After July 1, 2024, this product will no longer be includ! in these license packages. With our gratitude to ArcMap, this change offers GIS users the opportunity to transition to a new era by using the broader and more innovative products of the ArcGIS platform.

This transition gives you the chance to carry out your projects, research and lessons more efficiently and innovatively, while strengthening your industry expertise.

What does this transition mean for academy licenses under the !ucation Program?

July 1, 2024 will be a significant turning point for the GIS world. After this date, ArcMap will no longer be includ!
