Cryptopay was created as a Bitcoin wallet, the company’s killer feature was that in addition to an account, the client could open a prepaid card for online and offline transactions. Over time, Cryptopay began to support work with other cryptocurrencies and transformed into a payment gateway, operating first in the European and now in the global market.
Strengthened the technical team
Evrone developers joined Cryptopay to strengthen the in-house team and speed up the development process. At that time, the company was focused on the B2C direction: developing a wallet and a prepaid card. The development of the corporate module was at an early stage.
Our team had to work in several directions:
- Responsible for creating a B2B product.
- Design an architecture for storing and processing personal banking data.
- Implement a unified system for interaction with different issuing banks.
- Help Cryptopay achieve PCI DSS certification.
Developed a corporate module
The priority task was to create a B2B module. According to Cryptopay’s idea, users, mostly online retailers, would open accounts for a legal entity to accept payments in cryptocurrency, convert them into fiat currencies and back. The module would help integrate cryptocurrencies into everyday life and finance. Cryptopay clients would be able to enter foreign markets without interacting with the local currency system.
We started with developing a merchant account and expanding its capabilities:
- We implemented integration with payment systems via API and added cryptocurrencies.
- Added a multi-user account with the overseas chinese worldwide database ability to create sub-accounts for different roles in the company.
- We have implemented a comprehensive back office and a function for sending invoices.
- Added payment channels for making payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple.
- To secure the platform, we have middle east mobile number data address created a monitoring system and levers to resolve erroneous transactions.
- We have implemented the possibility of offline payment.
- We have refined and improved the trading system.
