The perceived size of physical objects depends on several factors, both objective and subjective, meaning that two people with identical eyesight, viewing angles, and perspective can perceive the same object differently. And the larger the object, the more difficult it is to accurately perceive its actual size.
The Ebbinghaus illusion shows how contextual information influences perception: the two circles are exactly the same size.
