What is Custom Payment from ČSOB?
Custom payment is an additional payment gateway service female database from ČSOB that allows your customers to pay on the payment gateway, even if they do not go through the typical purchase process on an e-shop. The service consists in the entrepreneur entering payment details in the application and generating a unique payment link , which is sent to the customer. After opening the link, the customer is redirected to the ČSOB payment gateway and after a successful payment, the link becomes inactive.
In what situations will you use the Custom Payment service? There are a number of options:
when issuing invoices or advance invoices,
if you need to pay when servicing a client at the call center,
if you need to accept payment from the client for an additional order change,
if you don’t have your own e-shop and the like.

Payment via link brings benefits to both merchants and their customers . For example, if you insert a QR code on an invoice for a customer , you can be sure that they will not make any mistakes when manually rewriting the data or that they will not accidentally pay twice. In addition, you do not have to wait long for payment by payment order.
If you don’t have your own e-shop and you process orders, for example, by phone or email , you don’t have to deal with integrating a payment gateway on your website thanks to Custom Payments. You simply generate a link to the payment gateway for your customer, thanks to which they can pay for goods or services immediately and easily.
How to set up a Custom Payment
You can create a payment link in the POS Merchant what is the use of a speed of 2.5 or 10 gigabits application – even if you don’t have a payment gateway implemented. In the Transactions section, select Payment Gateways, then click the Create Custom Payment button .
Before generating the first payment, you can enter general settings that will be used for all subsequent payments, such as currency, language, logo, payment validity in days (maximum 60 days), or URL for returning from the payment gateway after a successful transaction. Then, for each payment, you enter a description of the ordered item, amount, order number for matching, or additional data.
The application will then generate a unique payment link with a six-digit code . You can deliver this link to the customer by email, text message, or as a QR code printed on the invoice. You can only pay once using the link generated in this way.
How is the payment made?
After opening the payment link, the customer is automatically thailand data edirected to the payment gateway, where they can pay the amount using any of the offered payment methods . After successfully completing the payment, the customer is redirected back to the website you chose when creating the payment link.
However, if you create a payment in the POS Merchant application, you can choose the option of paying without returning to the e-shop . You can use this if you do not have any system integrated with the payment gateway and the customer has nowhere to “return”. However, you must then manually check the paid transactions in ČSOB POS Merchant.
Once the payment is made, the link is no longer active , so it is not possible for the payment to be made twice. If the payment is declined, the link remains active until its expiration date.
How to activate Custom Payments?
First, make sure that you meet the conditions for activating Custom Payment. You must have an active website that contains all the legally required requirements for a classic e-shop (e.g. contacts, terms and conditions including GDPR, etc.). Then, to activate the service, simply write to [email protected] or contact your banker with whom you will conclude a contract.
There is no special fee for customized payment , so the fees are the same as when redirecting the customer to the payment gateway from the e-shop.
